Lake Holon has been officially introduced as the newest travel destination in Southern Mindanao in 2015. It has been dubbed as the Crown Jewel of South Cotabato, a crater lake in the town of Tboli, the Valley of the Gods.
On September 5-7 of this year, The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) held the 25th Philippine Travel Mart at SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia Complex. Lake Holon took the spotlight at the booth of the South Cotabato province. It was a well-attended event, guests started queuing up as early as four in the morning just to catch the opening program of this annual illustrious showcase of Philippines’ bests.
South Cotabato’s booth snagged two major awards: People’s Choice and Best Booth. It is the most visited booth based on the number of stickers that guests stuck on a huge white board positioned at the left corner of the booth. A sticker is stuck on the white board if the guest finds the booth most striking among the rest of other booths that he/she visited. Kudos to the officers and staff of the provincial and municipal Tourism Departments of South Cotabato for a wonderful job!
Lake Holon is the travel destination to reckon in 2015. An ultimate adventure awaits the robust and the thrill-seekers!
