Think Happy Thoughts

Some days you wake up feeling sluggish and uninspired. Not so keen on making your to-dos happen, you prefer to stay in bed longer staring at the ceiling wondering how to hurdle through that little hump that life presents you with. At the back of your mind, you know very well that you can reverse that lily-livered feeling. There’s a thud from within urging you to make up your mind, think of your priorities, your goals for the day and even the long-term goals that you have, your dreams and aspirations or just anything that will change your mood. You crawl out of bed and choose to brave through the day with a happy heart.

Long term happiness for me is choice that we make each day. Choosing to make a day good and happy all depends on us.

However difficult life may seem today, make it a conscious effort to live and be happy!


Once in a while, amidst all your bad days, you’ll have a good day. A great day even. Make sure you remember those days. Keep them safely in your pockets, maybe even a jar on your desk because you need to know that there are and will be better days. You need to remember how on those days you felt warm inside, like you’ve just drunk a hot cup of tea; like a small fire was ignited inside of you. Hold on to that warmth. And never let it go.
